Okay so sorry for confusing people and misrepresenting the case on jreggie because I forgot where it had started. I have now reread and understand why I was confused. Since literally the beginning of the day 10 pages ago I mentioned I am happy to lynch both eevee and jreggie I think they are both very scummy. Since then I have been going back and forth as they/other people give thoughts and somewhere in there I forgot the beginning to the case on jreggie which was his hammer on silver spawn and his reaction to suspicion from me/robz as well as the low post content.

So for now, let's go with a scum team of lalight, calamitas, and Eevee. vote: Eevee.

Woah, I think J Reggie just committed a big scum tell: voting right after people (in this case me and mcmc) start talking seriously about you being scum. Scum get paranoid that they are being talked about and their first impulse is to try to misdirect, and casting a vote is the flashiest way to do that (it literally appears in bold).

I agree, I am happy to switch from eevee to jreggie. It also helps that I think its likely that vote he made is against his scum partner in an attempt to be early on a scum lynch and turn that into some town cred.

As you can see this also slightly explains why I have spent a lot of the day making kinda silly scum teams because I am very confident in my two current scum reads, and many people seem to agree.

Having Robz as the highest townread and agreeing on obv!scumminess vote: jreggie. Also i agree woth Eevee being scum and the third partner is either mcmc or Pacovf.

Why does this make Eevee less scummy? How does this answer on questions you asked Eevee (about why he targeted gkrieg).

Continuing to reread and I'm noticing we were basically at the point where  jreggie and eevee are both considered scummy with space/ww/myself/Reggie voting eevee and robz/lalight/teamlyle voting jreggie. Then space mentioned we may have accidentally hammered eevee, after that space and myself unvoted from eevee and waited to here from the mods. Once we heard we had not lynched eevee we continued to discuss if jreggie or eevee, or someone else, is the best idea.

I think with all that being said it not that strange for me to flip between eevee and jreggie frequently and to have confused the earlier reasons for finding jreggie scummy.

Your argument for how Eevee should have claimed.. town claims tend not to be so careful.  Town acts by hunches and feelings most of the time; scum makes sure what they say (and claim) makes perfect sense, and tends to overprovide reasons. 

And, pushing and then unvoting seemed weird.  I'm not sure how scummy it is.  I considered you might be pushing Eevee because scum!you knows that it looks scummy to immediately believe a claim, so you go the other direction.

I see what you mean, I was sort of just really upset at myself for completely misconstruing part of the case on jreggie. Its a big difference remembering that jreggie super scummily hammered silverspawn and then reacted strangely to suspicion from robz and myself and made a scummy distraction post and voted eevee, instead of thinking it was all in the fallout from his possible accidental hammer of eevee that was the initial suspicion.

And again I think the behavior makes more sense if you remember I really do just want to lynch both these people.

Hmm I guess this is just a point of difference, I agree town acts by hunches but eevee isn't explaining what hunch he had that caused him to track gkriek. He just says good player, could have done the night kill, like that hunch describes half the people in the game. I also think this depiction of scum always having great reasons and overexplaining is a bit of a misconception. I think scum more often then not doesn't know what reads to fake, doesn't know what claim to make and how hard to push it, but that's not super important.

As for the pushing and unvoting I hope I explained, I reread briefly after paco questioned me and I saw I was wrong so I unvoted untill I could get to a computer and reread appropriately.

Since this, witherweaver and myself have unvoted. Based on my reread i really am, as I was at the beginning of the day, happy to lynch both eevee and jreggie, jreggie I think is the smarter choice by a small amount. I intend to hammer later on in the day.

I'm not sure about Reggie.. did he do this.. resigned to getting lynched thing before?  I think in general it doesn't come from scum as much.
