Yes. You currently have four donkeys, not three. I think Jack Rudd understood that you wanted somebody to add a donkey to your sheet. I think it would be better not to change other people's sheet unless explicitly asked to.

Question: if you get a furnishing in the middle of an action (through an expedition, mainly), do you benefit from the furnishing for the rest of the action (i.e., the rest of the rewards from the expedition)?

I believe the answer is yes, much as you can use the first action of an expedition to grab the last stone/wood you need for the furnishing, then the second to build that cavern.  So you should also be able to furnish, say, Seam, then take 1 stone and get 1 ore.
