Commenting on luck. I couldn't have taken it with Imitation--I would have immediately had to take 2 begging tokens. (I have exactly enough food available to feed 3.)

Updated. By the way, my dwarf has a weapon level 10 now, not 9 (8 from blacksmith, 1 from completed expedition, 1 from expedition reward).
