I think Jake is just acting careless, pretty neutral since he has been seen behaving as scum similarly. In that regard, pretty much the whole case falls apart. If someone plays careless the way he does, ridiculous cases (SA, the one on you) and flip-floppiness is just going to happen and not actually alignment indicative. So overall a big 0 on Jake.

The case on you by Jake is obviously ridiculous (it is basically "You are driving suspicion away from you, so you are scum"). Though I don' like your read change on Robz as he pointed out. So slight scum points for you, though not nearly enough to get you to claim that early in the day (except we are doing a massclaim which would be actually great).

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with this to a certain extent, though I think if he found that being trolly scum got him townread elsewhere, he might be trying the same thing again, so I have a very slight scumrread on him, I guess.

While this is a great response to Jake's carelessness with pronouns, I'm finding it confusing to know who you are referring to, and as the only person going by "she" here, I don't want others to think you are talking about me!

I propose "it" as a suitable pronoun to use for Jake if he needs reminding about pronouns again :-) It also has the advantage of circumventing the problem of insulting a guy by calling him a girl/feminine, which is not an ideal example, from a feminist perspective.

so, I am against massclaim for two reasons:

1) If we have town prs, we have like maximum two of them and need to keep them safe.
2) This creates a whole universe of WIFOM. Scum can claim everything counting Random Bodyguards and stuff. It won't help us at all

For three of us, each other player (besides e) has a 40% prior chance of being scum, which is really high. From my point of view (and two others of you too!), it's almost worth reading for each of the 20 possible scum-pairs looking for partner tells. I did something like that in BSG and nailed the team (which included Calamitas), but then got mislynched anyway. The worry is that if we have a super-team of Robz and EFHW, they're probably practised enough at it not to be so detectable. I'd have more confidence in getting Calamitas, LL or Jake, though.

This can be useful but is a huge undertaking that I know I don't have time for. It's easier if--and hopefully when--we actually catch a scum. Then you go back and eliminate potential partners based on interactions. Scum partners forget to interact with each other sometimes, that's the big give away. They also strongly vote for their partners when there's no pressure to do so, weakly vote their partners when pressure appears, and try to pivot away from their partners when partners are in danger, but not in an obvious way. It's like, "Oh, I would totally vote for X, X is so scummy, but what about Y? Of course, we could always do X! But Y."

I do just want to point out that if it's a Robz/Jake scumteam, Robz's defense of Jake would be a deception, even though it is nice and persuasive. I think Jake likes trolling enough that he could pull this off as scum, and enjoy it, too. So I don't think it is towny.
