Calamitas is doing absolutely nothing to save himself though. He like obstinately refuses to post more, or come up with reads... which is really bad for town, but also a self-defeating scum tactic. He's barely fighting his wagon. Starting to read more as disinterested town to me.

OMGUS is bad, covering for it with a smiley face is worse, also directly contradicts his recent stance. And voting faust is not a good idea.

"his recent stance" -- TBH, I'm not actually the most unhappy mislynch in this game just now.

I wasn't really feeling good about the Calamitas wagon. He's young, and he's an overachiever with a perfect record, so my bet is that he's afraid of making mistakes that will blemish that (or just look retrospectively stupid) when D1 is so short on actual evidence.

I re-read faust, including all the posts he's made since my reads-list post (which is like 40, so not an insubstantial body in itself), and I do think he's come off as the scummier looking of the pair of him and EFHW. And all the game-pushing stuff is actually really easy to fake as scum. So he seemed an interesting choice to switch to at a point this evening where I could keep an eye on the game and jump off if the wagon if it ran too fast.

Of course, I'd expected scums to maybe join the wagon on faust (particularly since EFHW was pushing him earlier) rather than jump to me, but hey, this works too.

I use smilies often.. people just have to get over it.

@GKrieg, request for punishing people for systematic usage of incorrect pronouns.

There is precedent for the mod stepping in -- Haddock did so in BSG when it was getting out of hand and the offenders didn't seem to be taking it seriously. In a more direct approach, a couple of mods have stepped in to edit incorrect posts made by other players, and for the record, I appreciate that :-) I think giving people a clear, firm example is the best way to make it less awkward for everyone. I just don't always have the energy to get into a debate on my right to use singular they when I'm also trying to hunt scums or something... and I don't like having to pick one over the other.

Frequent offenders (not Jake) have made excuses like "well, pretty much everyone here is a he", so I'm not making up wild accusations there. Attitudes like that are not the way to build an inclusive community, and goodness knows inclusivity is something the world needs more of today :-)

Please everyone play nice.  This is something that is obviously really important to SpaceAnemone, so please treat them with respect.  If you really have a problem remembering, just use they/them for everyone.  I'm pretty sure no one is offended by that.

I don't know Calamitas' playstyle to really know if this is true, but I don't know if I want to completely abandon Calamitas as a lynch option

My lynch preferences are something like RR > Space-A > Calamitas. Won't lynch LaLight, EFHW, e and probably not Robz.
