Wow good job scum I never even suspected ethier of you as scum. I guess I just got schooled on how to play as scum
Yes you did. You spent much of Day 2 suspecting Calamitas, or were none of your accusations actually your opinions?

I'm glad scum won this one. I feel like the setup is more balanced in this iteration than the previous iterations.
I think telling the mafia the roles was too powerful, especially given that town didn't know their own modifiers.

That was pretty well faught. Double LyLo is tough. I probably would've tried to lynch SA here, so well played Robz.

It didn't affect the game, but I also strongly disagree with giving mafia the town role pms.

Telling town would have been an enormous disadvantage. Not knowing would have been an unintended disadvantage.

At a computer now, so can express myself better.  Robz gave a masterful performance and definitely earned MVP, imo.  While I was 97.5% sure he was scum, I had nothing to present to anyone else, and he and Calamitas also did a good job linking me to Calamitas so that I really did seem to be his partner.  Holding back from the quicklynches was what seemed to persuade SA in the end, so that worked out well, too.

I think Jake's tunneling of me played into Robz's hands and created a group impression that I was scum, even though nothing was ever presented by anyone that made any kind of case.  It was too bad e was so busy, because he could have been a balancing factor.

My defending Calamitas's fake result was definitely a mistake that inadvertently reinforced a connection between me and him.  I know I was in part reacting to Robz's position that "sometimes you just have to choose", and so I wanted to balance his scummy choosing by doing the opposite of what he did.  Turns out he DOES bus partners after all.

I'm disappointed Space couldn't see the towny motives behind my actions, but I understand how I seemed to be Calamitas's partner.  When Robz tempted me to lynch them, and I refused, I thought that could be persuasive.  Both his attempt and my refusal seemed telling to me. In the end, I voted Space in the desperate hope that I was wrong and Robz was town.

Thanks faust, for reading me correctly! You get towncred for our next game together (at least through RVS)!

Scum doesn't get to have perfect knowledge, just more knowledge than town.  Already just knowing who the town are is an advantage.  Having one-sided information about the roles is an advantage.  Having no unknown negative utility modifiers to worry about is an advantage. Having the means to fakeclaim, without town knowing that, is too much, I think.  Reading the qt, it occurs to me that Robz artfully maneuvered the mod as well as the town. Part of his job, of course.

I did also notice that Space seems very aware of Calamitas' life.  His exam, and when he said he would be back.  The info was there for all of us to see, but they seemed really on top of it.
Why wouldn't you pay attention to the actual people we're playing with? I would try to do the same with little personal facts from anyone, I think. You give away surprisingly little, though.. not sure if that's because you're more private as an individual, or more guarded as scum. I should read more of the old games, I guess.. but I don't have time to do that right now.
My kid, liopoil, used to play mafia quite a lot, so I got into a habit of discretion for his sake. It's probably more my nature, too.

In regard to the mvp I would call it a pretty close call. We both played a really great game, neither of us was close to get lynched at any point. My lynch and the engame was intended and went fully according to plan, would put that evenly on both of us. Though I would gove myself the edge for my successful framing of efhw which ultimately lead SA to vote her. Though I'm probably pretty biased here, what do you think robz?

I'm definitely for Robz here. I never trusted him as much as in this game, even in other games I've read. He made a HUGE work. I thought I an not even able to be more suspicious, now I understand that I have to be.

I am genuinely confused.  In what way did you have a good case on me?  Even Robz admits it was really thin.  This matters for future games.  Like I said before, I think you might not be calibrated yet about what constitutes a good case.  Your argument for a me-LL partnership was ok, but even before that you kept saying you had a case against me but I could never find it.

No, you tunneled me for a long time before you said anything about LL being my partner.  And Space before me, with no case that made sense there either. Barring blatant scumslips, it is generally not going to be easy to tell who is scum.  You have to balance your feelings of suspicion with your knowledge that 1) town can seem quite scummy and 2) scum can seem quite towny.  On the last day, Robz made a decent case against Space and Space made a decent case against me.  You can use those as markers for the strength of cases.  And remember they were both wrong!
