I can understand that, but it's possible that several scums are on low health, and the benefit of killing a top scum read now is that they don't get to mess with us in the night. That's particularly effective for Chairs, because he can guarantee himself first place, meaning he gets to do damage before any towns-worms can do anything about it.

I think the actual problem is that town is being indecisive. If RR is town, his play has been appalling because he appears to be waiting around wanting to make things dramatic like the end of D2, though actually I'm pretty sure he's with Chairs and e on the scum team.

My best guess right now is
Town: SA, JR, Mail-mi, Haddock, Schadd
Scum: e, Chairs, RR, Silver

with a bit of shuffling room between Haddock, Schadd and Silver. I was townreading schadd more strongly, but having just done a reread, I guess I'm back to being more null. I have always read him as super-scummy previously, so that isn't helping me here. I still feel unwilling to vote for him above any of e, Chairs or RR.
