(i'm realizing how scary it is to have this many scum in the voterbase, and it is maybe easier for 2 people to coordinate a non-suspicious hammer than 3? but, ofc, i've never witnessed this scenario so i dunno)

I wouldn't worry about this until much later. I haven't really seen scum double hammer this early in the game.

i'm thinking something along the lines of:

me: vote on guy
scum1: vote on guy! yes!
scum2: ooh good yes! how about hammer, eh? discussion!?
scum1, scum3 in unison: yes, discussion! okay
scum2: alright. allow me to hammer now that we have discussioned
me (none the wiser): oh no, 'twas an innocent!

no. it is an abstraction of the thing that i'm worried about could happen if i voted joseph right now. that would maybe not happen if i didn't

probably voted for mail-mi, and ~manipulated~ other people into it. but, i mean, faust and silverspawn were on that boat, so probably not all three of the scums needed to be egging that basket, or something. and that checks out: two of the people in my kinda tier voted for him (you and joseph, though the fact that joseph is the one whom i'm worried about accidentally complicitly killing clouds things a bit).

so, socrates, what's your scoop? corrupted any children lately, like, for example, rr, in your mafia qt? does it smell bad cop in here or is it just me? etc.

Scum doesn't have day chat, so couldn't discuss this in-game.

Another townslip it seems.

I didn't really want to vote for him, but he seemed like the least bad wagon.

This is not a townslip. The discussion that schadd imagines is clearly taking place in the game thread.

Point iguana. Not that points really matter with a result, but still.

the point has been hammered into the ground. if i'm indeed being coached by my scumfriends (which seems to be the main concern?) then this is a bottomless well of town points. save it for when i'm about to be lynched at least.

You're wrong.
I understand where people are coming from, but we need to find actual scum, not an idiot with a terrible reads list.
Lynching me is bad - easy mislynch, and what information will you get from it?

I reread RR, that was a productive 17 seconds.  Said nothing D1.  Is lynchworthy.

Eh you look townie to me anyway.  You also seem like you would be terribly difficult to coach, because you have a very distinct style, and it seems like stuff that you were coached from would clearly not be from you if that makes sense.

There is no reason for scum to do this on D2.  It would look pretty suspicious.

Day 1 Final Vote Count:

J Reggie (3):  iguanaiguana, schadd, LaLight
mail-mi (7): J Reggie, SpaceAnemone, gkrieg13, Joseph2302, faust, witherweaver, silverspawn
RoadRunner7671 (1): mail-mi

Not Voting (1): RR

With 12 alive, it took 7 to lynch.

So looking at the wagon, and knowing the alignments of silverspawn and faust, it leaves a pretty small list that probably contains at least one scum on it.  Unless all scum were on J Reggie (which seems pretty highly unlikely), then at least one is in the 4 people (WW, Joseph, SA, JReggie.)

I'll probably do rereads of those four later, but this makes me feel better about my vote on Joseph.
