I haven't paid as much attention to this game as I should have because of stuff I can't talk about, but I did have the discussion with Faust about the Joseph thing and also as I've said I have a scumread on mail-mi.

I thought Faust was a good scum player though. Would he be this fluffy as scum? The only argument I can really think of is that he probably wouldn't be this fluffy as town, so that's something.

I don't think faust's fluffiness is actually scumness, told that before. Looks like weak wagon and people just continue to participate on this. And Joseph's list is strange, mostly because of putting Silver in the lynchpool. He's obvious town to me.

Also he puts faust there too. It can be because he sees his bros are making the wagon and tries to prove us it's right. For now i'm ok with my vote on mail-mi, then it's Joseph's time.

There are newbies in the game, so the little bit of fluff earlier was really welcome as far as I'm concerned, because it's too hard to engage with the rest of you discussing people's meta when I haven't quite formed my own opinion of most people here. I don't think interacting with people is a bad thing to encourage to make sure stuff keeps happening in D1.

real? 6 pages in 4ish days seems perfectly fine, judging from cursory glances at the other ones. this might, however, stem from an actual personal time constraint. such is online mafia.
...and since then not many of the other posts have things that are really capable of refutation (or agreement, for that matter) and are sorta non-committal, as igu argued.
  from non-mafia knowledge, i would tend to agree with igu and the version of ss that says "the case is good." also, either way, j reg seems like a fun person to put the spotlight on

Declined. You are not supposed to try to be appear to be helpful to town, you're supposed to be helpful to town. The only really helpful thing is to find scum. Everything else is in service of that.

which is why i said things "that [aren't] helpful for the townsfolk" and not "things that make me look scummy." i was thinking something like "no don't say that thing, {cool guy} already articulated in M69 that that strategy doesn't actually make sense and does not statistically indicate who is scum. you are so bad, young fartling."

A lot of non-content posts (and jokingly soft-claiming scum) will get you lynched in the end, which is not helpful for your win-condition. Whether that is helpful for town or not, you tell me.
