Also this is a really good example of where COs can be useful. If I had a CO from Seprix when Kirian started bidding on these the whole thing could have been over in seconds.

A CO is a conditional order, a list (as long or short as you want) of instructions for how you'll act, up to the point you're confident you know what you're doing. For example, it could be as simple as "bid up to 5 on card 17 in steps of 1" or something more complex like "bid up to 5 on card 17, then bid up to 7 on card 17 if Tables outbids me, or up to 3 on card 9 if theory outbids me, or up to 2 on card 9 if anyone else outbids me."
