It's set in medieval times or something around there. Everyone is living in a new city, having bought a new home and small allotment of land, and is trying to make a name for themselves.
Red represents food, Green is... I'm not sure actually, some kind of tradable goods like building resources, some kind of valuables, whatever. Blue represents valuable gems/jewelry. The start cards are to customise and decise who you are: Income R means you're a farmers child, coming to the city with nothing but a bit of knowledge on how to grow your own food. 1 Off: GRR means you're a merchants child, coming with a little food for the road and some goods to trade. 1 Off: B means you're a noble's child, coming with the valuable jewel your parents left you.
The rest of the game is about you making deals and bartering with the locals to build up your business and become the most successful new arrival.
