Ok I missed teamlyle's post the first time around.  I can see why people think it is scummy, but I don't think it is a tell either way.

I like this new mail-mi.  He seems to be a lot more active, and trying to figure things out.

Last game I wasn't really that relevant because my reads weren't that good. This game I'm hoping to help town more if I'm town, and help scum more if I'm scum.

Who says "I'm gonna help scum if I'm scum"? I don't know if it's newbie town being too unnecessarily thorough or newbie scum being too cautious, but I'm leaning toward the latter.

In fact, I'm definitely on the side of the latter. What town narrative prompts someone thinks that? I can think of it being newbie scum afraid to lie, or newbie scum thinking "if I just say I'm town they'll think I'm suspicious! Gotta make sure to be extra careful!"
