I'm very tempted by the Silver wagon, but I think I'd rather wait till RR is back and able to tell us a bit more, since he seemed to have information that Silver might be trustworthy. Also, hidden votes seem to be a thing, so L-1 might be bad.

Well, let's take silver off the lynch table for today.

Silver, why the sudden Calamitas scum read? I thought his response to iguana was pretty null, only a little bit scummy if anything. Do you have a case?

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

What is Gkrieg doing?

Let me think of a few scenarios

1. Silverspawn is town and gkrieg is doing some extreme white knighting. Scum either killed twice or know how Seprix died so scum gkrieg is confident with this fake claim

2. You know what? I'm not making this dum list. What type of ONE SHOT vig shoots night one? No way I'm buying that. Also let me get his scum slip

Also vote: gkrieg

Also I'm very confused how EFHW was the NK.  I would guess more on the side of SA/chairs just because of that kill.
Can you please elaborate on that?

Well if you read the first day, she was woefully wrong with her reads.  So I feel an experienced player wouldn't kill her N1, unless they got an N0 action or something.  She is an experienced, good player, so I can see someone new reading one of her games and thinking she would be a good kill.
'If you read the first day she was woefully wrong with her reads.'

Just being wrong about Seprix is not being woefully wrong. Gkrieg must know that she was wrong about other players as well. Gkrieg wouldn't have said 'woefully wrong' if it was just Seprix.

He's an IC now because of it. Or he would be if he wouldn't of have a slip

Uh I suggest you go and read D1 before you make arguments like these ones.  EFHW has exactly one post where she gives a read on someone.  I've quoted it below.

Last game I wasn't really that relevant because my reads weren't that good. This game I'm hoping to help town more if I'm town, and help scum more if I'm scum.

Teamyle, what are your experiences with Mafia?

None besides the 2 games that I played. I really want my reads to be better this game, and I was joking because I thought we were still in RVS.
I'm not buying the joking angle, and I think the comment does reveal he is not in a town mindset. Vote: Teamlyle

So she was on the mislynch wagon.  Hence her reads being woefully off.

I reread and she didn't even really talk about Seprix. So 'woefully off' is still one person. She was wrong about one person.

And how do you feel about my 'you're a one shot vig' argument?

1. I'm not doing any white knighting.  I thought that silver was scum at the beginning of the day, and said that I would take him off the table for today, because his claim lines up with everything.  There is currently 0 discrepancy in what has been claimed, so I should believe the claims for now.  Not only is there not a discrepancy, the PRs seem totally normal.  Nothing that screams that something is too powerful.

2. Uh, when you look at the end of the day, there was like 40 minutes between the post count showing teamlyle at L-1 and the one showing that he had been lynched.  3 people posted between the two vote counts: me, Seprix, Calamitas.  I knew that one of those three had to be the extra voter, and I thought Seprix was more likely.  I will always take a 50% chance of shooting scum.

Vote Count 1.3

Where's your mommy?
Dead. Where's yours?

SpaceAnemone (1): Roadrunner
Seprix (1): SpaceAnemone
Calamitas (1): gkrieg
teamlyle (6): mail-mi, silverspawn, diedre, EFHW, iguana, chairs (L-1)

Not Voting (3): Seprix, Calamitas, teamlyle

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

Deadline: 6pm, 30 August.

Final Day 1 Vote Count

Sooner or later, the day comes when you can’t hide from the things that you’ve done any more.

SpaceAnemone (1): Roadrunner
Seprix (1): SpaceAnemone
Calamitas (1): gkrieg
teamlyle (6): mail-mi, silverspawn, diedre, EFHW, iguana, chairs

Not Voting (3): Seprix, Calamitas, teamlyle

teamlyle has been lynched!  With 12 alive, it took 7 to lynch.

Well being wrong about one person when that is teamlyle, who was clearly town is woefully off.  I mean it was such a bad wagon.  Why would you kill someone on that wagon anyway?  You almost always try to kill off-wagon for a mislynch, on-wagon for a correct lynch

Well because no one voted in that time it had to be a secret vote, which is what I've been saying all day.

Seprix can't secret vote, he can only double vote

So he double voted on not voting and teamlyle died?

Or is this a scumslip from you?

Like what do you think happened at the end of D1?

I thought it was obvious. In the setup, there is both a double voter (the recently deceased Seprix) and a secret voter (not Seprix).

Or the last person/second to last person on the teamlyle wagon is also a double voter.

yes but I'm too tired to do it now. it's not sudden, I've voted for him before.

Has nothing to do with recent events.

RR is solid town. we have a guilty tracker result... doesn't want to vote for me. we have a vig without counter claim... solid IC, can't be scum, he votes for him. classic.

Seriously, though

gkrieg is an IC. No ifs or buts about it. Scum does not have two NKs. Voting for him is insane.

There is only one possible scenario where gkrieg is not town, which is him being a SK, and that doesn't make any sense because a SK has zero motivation to stop my lynch here - regardless of my alignment.

Find a normal game that has an SK and traitor in the same game.  Especially one that starts with only 12 people.  That would be 4 scum in 12.  Not likely to happen unless town has some seriously cool roles, which it seems they don't.
