Does King's Court remain in play until the Cleanup of the next turn? How about next one?

No, because KC did not ever play a Duration card. Each time, KC played a BoM, then you chose a card, and then BoM played itself as that card.

So, if I were to count how many actions I've played this turn, they would be 7, right? (KC - BoM - Embargo - BoM - FV - BoM - Caravan)

While if I KC a Band of Misfits as Village they would only be 5, right?
King's Court - BoM - Village - Village - Village
Not that it matters, but I want to check that I understand how BoM works.

If I understand this correctly, it's because it was BoM, not KC, who instructed you to play the Duration.
