So, in retrospect I really regret allowing the non-majority lynching. It took too much pressure off the partners.
I don't agree that the setup favored scum, or at least if the lynch rules had stayed at majority lynch then I don't think it would have. The idea was that scum would have been forced to do a lot of talking in qt's, which is difficult.
I've noticed that towns have become very passive lately, posting and voting on current gut feelings and rarely doing careful rereads looking for patterns. Neither ced or silver came under any kind of scrutiny, and as ced said, there were things to be found if someone had looked. Also, assumptions were made, like that RR was scum b/c he survived N1 or that Awaclus was scum because he was loudly wrong about some people. Also, the long quiet periods should have been hints that scum was very happy with the current state of affairs, so something was probably wrong with the current state of affairs.
I'd like to try this again sometime, with the standard lynching rules, if there is interest.
