Me destroying with Soothsayer/Chapel.

Me being destroyed by Soothsayer/Chapel.

To be a bit more innovative (and theoretical; I've never done this), you could use Alms and Baker token to open Procession/Hunting Grounds. If you're lucky, Procession your Hunting Grounds on turn 3, trashing it for 3 Estates and a King's Court and drawing all your Copper so you can Inherit Ironmongers.

I really like when you do a goofy opening that out of context seems inferior, but is good on that particular kingdom. My favorite opening ever was opening Chapel/Hamlet, still one of my only 2/2 openings (they will probably become more common now with the introduction of several power 2's in Adventures).

Can you explain the Kingdom, and why opening Hamlet/Chapel was amazing? Was it Tunnel?

The important cards were Hamlet, Chapel, Poor House and Hunting Grounds. Since Poor House was going to be my payload anyway, buying treasure at all seemed bad. And since Poor House only costs 1$, I can trash all the way down to 1 copper before I start building, if I have to. And I might as well get a headstart on Hamlets, the only card likely to run out.

?
You are guaranteed to kill an estate, so you shouldn't run into economic problems.

Travelling Fair/Chapel is a power opening.

I actually played a game where I got Travelling Fair/Ambassador T1.

Whoa! Since you have to open 5/2 for that, it means you're guaranteed to return two Estates to the supply T2. Sounds like one of the swingiest 5/2 openings possible against a 4/3, perhaps even worse than Cultist and Rebuild.

On 3/4, open Ambassador, then Scouting Party plus Peasant / Page, to guarantee Ambassador collides with two Estates on turn 3 and to minimize the odds of your Traveller and your Ambassador colliding.
