Border village and inn

I buy Border village and use it to gain an Inn. Can I shuffle border village into my deck?

Yeah, but you implied that it would be a house rule.


Here's the rules explanation:

You gain Border Village.  Like any normal gain, it goes on top of your discard pile.  Then you resolve BV's on-gain effect, which lets you gain another card costing less than it.  You choose Inn and you gain it.  It also goes on top of your discard pile.  Then you resolve Inn's on-gain effect, which allows you to reveal action cards from your discard pile to shuffle back into your deck.  Is your new Border Village in the discard pile?  It is indeed, so you can reveal it and then shuffle it into your deck with any other action cards you revealed.
