Well, this is disgusting.

What is? You didn't really expect to get elected, did you?

Sure I did. You were the only one voicing dissent.

Well we certainly need more interactions before deciding. Your govenment failing provides us with these interactions.

An intriguing thing: We have chairs, who voiced his support of the government clearly, plus two people who were part of the government. That's 3 votes right there. With 4 votes needed, fascists would only have had to throw in one more vote to make it pass, and they know that.

So that means probably either 2 fascists are in Seprix/Hydrad/chairs, or no fascists were in the proposed government. I find the latter more likely... which may make me want to support Hydrad over gkrieg for president.

Disclaimer: there can be reasons for fascists to be in the government and the government failing anyway. Especially chancellor is not the most powerful role, so Seprix is actually townier from this than Hydrad. But we cannot have a Seprix government anymore. Oh well.

Well, not really. it will in the long run, but certainly not right now.

More or less as expected, the government fails. Interestingly, Hydrad approved, even though he is president now and president is a much more important role than chancellor this early in the game.

Seprix is a bit more likely to be liberal now, though I wouldn't go as far as faust and extend this to the people voting for the government. We can reassess the votes, once we know a bit more.

Only need Hydrad's vote

Also when voting please make it clear which proposal you are voting for, e.g. put the round number or president/chancellor in the PM somewhere.

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Yes. You and ghost cannot be nominated as Chancellor until another policy is enacted, but anyone can be President once it passes around to them.

Chairs, Faust, SS look sorta bad, but there is no way all three of them are Fascist. I'd wager 1 to 2, probably 1 are Fascist. Hydrad discarded the one Fascist card (so he says), but it's entirely possible he had nothing but Lib cards, not to mention enacting a Fascist card this early almost never would look good.

I've never played this game, so maybe there's something wrong with my reasoning. Would there be a good scenario for Libs to enact Fascist policy this early?

You would think so. But last game fascists totally got 2 Fs right away and in the end tables was considered a top town read still.

Well in case of fascist!Hydrad/liberal!ghost, it's perfectly reasonable for Hydrad to discard a fascist policy because ghost will enact a liberal one anyway, and 2 L looks better on Hydrad.

No, it's basically never a good idea. Maybe if you're president and really want to execute someone, but even that is a stretch. It's hard enough to get 5 liberal policies in place without fascist interference because there are much more fascist ones.

I was considering giving him LF to see what he would choose. But then I realized even if he picked F it's not like mafia where we can trade 1 for 1 that easily.
