I am not a huge fan of the card as designed. In a kingdom with strong trashers, the draw back isn't as big. In general, I'd avoid balancing a card based on 'gaining a curse'. Or at least: make the big benefit dependent on... actual gaining a curse.

So you need a way to 'fix' the issue on the strong trashing thing. Here is just one example, but it's not well thought out.

The latter clause can benefit your opponent. The first clause almost guarantees you are always gaining something for such a strong benefit.

I think for maximum Leeroy it should be an event so that there is no planning whatsoever

I think the cursing one fits the leeroy flavor better because the original leeroy's antics caused his group to miss out on some drops that they would never be able to get, permanently damaging his clan.

Did no one mention that just like Reckless Greed in Yu-Gi-Oh benefits add up but drawbacks don't ?
