Another nice trick with Bonfire is getting rid of your other trasher with it. Or another early game card you don't want anymore, e.g. Potion.

If only there was a Potion and a trasher that could get rid of themselves!

Transmute?

Not sure what you mean, but a Transmute cannot get rid of itself.

IIRC, both Ratcatcher and Transmute can just sit on your Tavern until the end of the game, which is just as good.

EDIT: obviously meant Transmogrify. Don't mind me.

I think you mean Transmogrify.

Contrary to popular belief, I do not run the wiki all on my own.  There are plenty of other people who are actively editing.  Go bother them!

WE DIDN'T START THE FIRE
IT WAS ALWAYS
Tip for anyone who ever wants a guaranteed +1 from me on their posts: reference Billy Joel.

Bonfire? If that's the way to move up, I'm moving out.

I thought that only the good threads die young. But thread, I love you just the way you are. Just sing me a song, bonfire forum thread... (The upvotes should be pouring in!)

Remember when not everyone realized Bonfire was a top tier trasher and that strategies like Jack / Bonfire are totally ridiculous? Man.

But seriously, Stef's post was the first time I was like "oh, maybe Bonfire is actually pretty good", and then I slowly started buying it more and more.
