The Rube Goldberg of Dominion Challenge

From Merriam Webster:
Quote
Definition of RUBE GOLDBERG
: accomplishing by complex means what seemingly could be done simply <a kind of Rube Goldberg contraption … with five hundred moving parts — L. T. Grant>; also : characterized by such complex means

We have all been beginners once. We have all been enticed by the indefinite chaining ability of Villages and Laboratories only to count our money and find we have... $3. Luckily, that's exactly enough for another Village!

I propose this challenge for you, with nothing other to offer than bragging rights:
Devise the most elaborate Dominion combo to do something really simple, like buying a Colony, which can be done with a boring hand full of Treasure.

I'm not looking for a way to clean out the entire Colony stack in one turn or something like that which can be either very elementary (KC-Bridges) or justifiably complex. It just has to be something a normal BMU-player could achieve as well, but with less effort.

Look at this straightforward example: The Über Upgrader
Code: [Select]
Starting hand: 2x KC, Village, Curse, Bridge
Deck: Village, 3x Upgrade

Play Village, draw Village, play Bridge
Play KC->KC
1. Play Village, draw 3 Upgrades

2. Play Upgrade
2a. Draw nothing, Trash Curse, Gain Estate
2b. Draw Estate, Trash Estate, Gain Great Hall
2c. Draw Great Hall, Trash Great Hall, gain Gardens

3. Play Upgrade
3a. Draw Gardens, Trash Gardens, Gain Duchy
3b. Draw Duchy, Trash Duchy, Gain Fairgrounds
3c. Draw Fairgrounds, Trash Fairgrounds, Gain Bank

Play your remaining Upgrade, Trash Bank, Gain a Province.
With use of the Bridge, 4 stepping stone Victory cards and 1 Treasure, a measly Curse is Upgraded all the way to a Province.

I'm curious to see what you guys come up with. The wackier, the better!

This is another Curse->Province in one turn, but using a different technique.

In hand: City, 2xExpand, Quarry, Curse.  One pile is out, so City is +2 cards/+2 actions.

Play City, draw Black Market and City.
Play Black Market and Quarry, buy nothing.
Play City, draw Black Market and Watchtower.
Expand Curse to Witch, use Watchtower to put it on top of the deck.
Play City, draw Witch and one other card.
Play Black Market, buy Mint, eliminating the Quarry in play.
Expand Witch to Province.

Here's a method for a Cursing attack:

Scrying Pool(s) to draw the whole deck, Village, Secret Chamber (discard an Ambassador), Scout (to reshuffle and put the Ambassador in the draw pile), Outpost, Royal Seal, buy a Curse and put it on top of your deck, Ambassador a Curse during your Outpost turn.

Haha, nice cursing attack. Could even make it guaranteed to hit with a 5-card deck: Hamlet, Scout, Watchtower, Ambassador, Outpost.

This game made me remember this topic.

I think this says it all:
#1 Davio: 39 points
       [22 cards] 1 Masquerade, 7 Coppers, 2 Silvers, 5 Golds, 1 Duchy, 6 Provinces

#2 Tomi: 13 points
      [32 cards] 9 Cartographers, 6 Tributes, 3 Expands, 2 Universities, 1 Haven, 1 Masquerade, 1 Quarry, 5 Coppers, 1 Potion, 1 Estate, 2 Provinces

At one point I told him: I think you need another Cartographer. This guy was all over the place while I just one-trick ponied my way to 6 Provinces.  ::)

At least he was right with his Tributes. Those are very good against a mostly money deck.

Draw your whole deck with KC-Conspirator-smithy-village chain:
At end you have played 5 conspirators 3x times- and have 30 coin and >20 actions.
You now hold in your hand 8 black markets and 8 governors and a haggler.
 Play your haggler ($32).
Now play your hand in the following way:
Play BM-Copper buy a 6 card gain mandarin returning copper to deck.
Play governor to draw the three cards in hand.
Do this 8 times, now you have 8 coin left, so buy a province.
(using one copper to generate $8)

I guess I'll have a go at this.

Spy ->see my opponent has a copper on his deck
Governor->Draw option
Masquerade->He passes a copper, I pass him a copper. I don't trash anything.
I play a Bridge
Develop Copper into Duchess
Develop Duchess into Silver and Curse
Masquerade->He passes a copper, I pass him the curse. I trash the Silver.
I play Mountebank, he discards the Curse.
=Swindler

No important cards trashed needlessly.
