Hi all,

I am new on Isotropic and looking for some interface help here. By now there are somewhere between 5 and 10 expansion sets available, and basically that's too much to cope with at once. So I like to master base game + intrigue first, and when I have some experience with those cards, expand to a new expansion (pretty much how you would approach the game in real life).

So here's my question: how do I make sure only base and intrigue cards are used. I also want the cards to be auto-selected. I tried the following, but failed:

At the bottom, I add two rows/rules, saying I want 5 to 10 cards from set=base (and a second line with 5 to 10 from set=intrigue). Without succes, I just encounter any random card when a game starts.

I would think that I open an 'new table', set my conditions, and anybody willing to join my game does so at the conditions I set, correct?? Apparently I'm mistaking.

What am I doing wrong? Could the reason be that I use the auto-match? What should I do differently then?

Does anybody know a decent 'manual' for isotropic?

Restrictions don't work with auto match sorry.
Will need to set restrictions, Select an opponent, "propose game with".

Alternatively you can use auto match + bias auto-match selection towards: Base.

I already feared it wouldn't work with auto match
