So, I am going to say this, I ranked Urchin #1 for $3 costs.

I also ranked Urchin at #1.

I think I ranked Urchin #2 or #3, with Ambassador being higher and probably Masquerade too, I don't remember anymore.

now wondering if i'll be the high vote on butcher...it's in my top 10 $5s (not ranking adventures mind you).  i like it over minion free, so good in so many different kinds of decks.

also surprised jsh has junk dealer so high but no upgrade in the top 10 at all!

I think Junk Dealer > Upgrade for sure. I also like having Junk Dealer that high, although I have it on #6. (After the other cards JSH has in his top 6. Look at that, we have the same cards in the top 6 here again in different order; so I have Wharf > Governor > JD from 4-6). I have Minion quite low... might be too low.

Upgrade is also surprisingly far away from my top 10.

And I also like Butcher in the top 10 - I have it on #11.

For the record, I've got Urchin on #3.

Like JSH,  I put Junk Dealer at #4. Actually, our top 4 is nearly identical except I rank Rebuild 3 and Cultist 2.

i just view trashing in general as really important, so upgrade is solidly top 10 for me.  if "rats from the black market" were a proper $5 kingdom card i would probably have that in my top 10 $5s as well.  heck, i think i even have count in my top 15...

also burning skull, i kinda like that call even if i'd feel comfortable having the likes of chancellor & fortune teller below tunnel.  i forget where i had these two, but the more i think about it the more i'd have woodcutter above tunnel.

Well, all things considered, Tunnel is probably useful more frequently than Chancellor is and, unlike Chancellor, it can even shine sometimes. But somehow I found myself buying Chancellor way more often than Tunnel recently... I'm biased probably.. Among all the cards, which are widely considered as super weak Chancellor is definitely my favorite.

Honestly, what Chancellor does for your deck is better than what Scout does for your deck.  If there aren't any good openers, and the s and s I'm looking at are non-terminal, I'll totally open Chancellor.

Scout fell back to #161, but I am going to be ranking for the next few hours.
Whenever Scout gets moved around 30, I will make an edit.
(Example, if Scout goes up to #131, I would edit this post.)

EDIT: Scout is now at #106. I got a little power crazy, Scout does not belong that high, or if it does, I still have to make more adjustments.

Just so we're clear why this ranking sounds weird: at 106, you are claiming Scout is in the top 50% of all cards.

Didn't someone here make a head-to-head ranker that would produce a list of card rankings? (If you assume A > B and B > C implies A > C, you don't need as many comparisons. to get a reasonable list. The list will probably still look weird, but it's always going to look weird, it's hard to canonically rank all cards at once.)

I did the head to head, then I did my own edits (like making KC better than Cultist). Scout has found it's way to #101, and it's not going any higher.

Ummm....Really?  There are few 4 coin cards, or cards at ANY price, that are more situational/less generally useful than Scout.  Hence all the jokes on this site!
