how would people feel about a closed invented setup in the style of mafiascum normals / m94

i give a list of possible roles at the beginning of the game & would have a mechanic where everyone gets to post one setup every day that i will review for balance (answering by edit "yes, i would run that setup" or "no, i think that would be scumsided / townsided")

Sure. I don't really get the bit where we ask questions about what setups you would run (it seems unnecessary), but I'm itching for a game.

it's mostly useful in the last few days once claims are out - normals on MS (and maybe in general) have a somewhat refined sense of balance and players will often be able to reason, wait, this is too much town power, one of the claimed PRs is probably lying or possibly there is an un-accounted for scum PR, etc. and so i'm kind of like cheating us up to the play level of someone who's used to normal games from there / leveling the play field for people not used to building setups

Yes, we have somewhat of a shortage in mods right now. I would open a game, but I'm going on vacation mid-March. Also I like to alternate M/RMM.

I've never actually modded a regular M game, though, so I should offer at some point. Would Altered Carbon make a good flavour? I haven't really thought about it enough yet..

I'm not alive in anything at the moment, but I am still modding RMM42, so I'd currently prefer something to play in rather than another thing to mod.
