God, this entire game was just total s**t. Molly was the only +action, and my opponent got lucky, got her from me on a bad turn, and then trashed everything I had with no prospects of me coming back, despite getting ahead.

What are your bad Dominion games?

I played a IRL 3P game once that was no fun - I don't really remember the details except that the only trasher was Spice Merchant and there were no villages. Other than that even a bad game of Dominion beats anything else I play.

Games where I either get terrible shuffle luck or make a ridiculously terrible mistake. One of those was letting my opponent get ALL of the Magpies, which allowed him to Relic me every turn (he only had one), slowing my deck down a lot. Another was only getting 1 RC in a 4p game, where two players each got 3 RCs and proceeded to burn through my deck with Giant.

I still think the worst kingdom is Ghost Ship, Scheme and 8 useless terminals. I played a 2-player IRL game like that for like 2.5 hours.

That's disgusting.

Try a board with Knights, Graverobber, no villages, and nothing else useful on the board. Worst board ever.

This would have not been a "worst game of dominion" online. Or even if I was playing more experienced opponents.

However I played a IRL kingdom from hell. Only because of me of course.

I decided to play an Advisor, Wandering Minstrel, Storeroom engine with Armory support. It was a three person game however both my opponents decided to play BM. I quickly drained the advisors and had 4 or so Wandering Minstrels and 2 Storerooms. My turns took 10 minutes each with the result of buying a province per turn. While my opponents turns took 10 seconds. It was not a fun game because they were all butt hurt at me for my turns taking forever. Oh well

I'm not sure if that would be the worst game IRL. But I would assume someone could come up with something worst. Maybe a Hunting Party, Advisor, Scrying Pool, Spy, Envoy, Wandering Minstrel, Oracle engine in a 4 person game where everyone has 10 minute turns......

Have you ever played it though? I hate when people dismiss games without trying them first. I see it with Dominion a lot, and now you're doing it with Russian Roulette. If you give it a fair chance (that means actually playing it more than once), you may learn to appreciate its subtleties.

I think you'll find an inherent bias in the users who are able to post reviews.

It's a tie between all the games when Goko freezes when the game is loading, giving the other player an auto-win. This happens to me quite a lot, and it very rarely happens the other way.

The worst kingdom needs to include Page. I just played a game with Asper with Page and he managed to trash my Warrior and then build a chain of 6 Pages. I'm sure there's people here who can relate to that. It's very frustrating and it makes me think that Warrior/Page is the worst designed card pair in Dominion. It's just awful, there's nothing fun about it. Sorry, Donald.

I think the idea behind it is cute: Have Page be a simple cantrip that has no use on its own and then make another card in the same line that rewards you for playing those Pages. Nice, very cool idea. The problem is just, the bonus that Donald picked is repugnant. It's swingy, frustrating, annoying and drags out the game. The fact that it disables other players from doing the same, recovering or getting to savety (using Champion) is just cream on top.

Why are people complaining about Champion when the real offender is Warrior?

3/6 of my freaking League match games were decided by turn 5. It's been one of those days. One game, I didn't hit 5 for my first 2 reshuffles, and for the other games, I got 5/2 when it was bad, and my opponent got 5/2 when it was amazing. God, I don't even feel good at this game anymore, I've been on a huge losing streak for the past two weeks now, and it's driving me nuts.
