Tokens on ruins?

I should probably just get home and read through the rulebook now since I got it, but anyway: Can you put tokens on the ruins pile? The events just state an Action pile, not a Kingdom action pile so just going by that it should be legal, right?

Feels odd though..

(Sorry if already been taken up and so forth..)

Thanks. Cultist-games without trashers suddenly becomes a little easier to live through ^_^

And all ruins in your deck becomes affected? Not just the one on top or anything?

Correct.

Unless you're Inheriting, in which case you put aside the ruin in question with the estate token, amIright? (I want to inherit ruined villages just for the heck of it... works with conspirators, at least.)

The original question was about putting tokens on piles, though. The Estate token never goes on a pile.
