When I opened it, i thought like why isn't there a summary? 1:17 h talking about 20 new cards, really? But i like it a lot, so i will watch all the video and take notes here:

Lost City: I go with e and Adam here, this card is strong. Really strong. Its a Level 2 City from the beginning. Thats strong. Drawback? Yes. A curse from IGG? No. Once one card for your opponent? Yep. One time got hit by a Soothsayer, but without the curse is the better comparision. Does that hurt? A bit, but not too much. I think the drawback is overvalued by Stef here.

Magpie: Hahaha, the big question is, whats the white thing on the right. I love that, Adam! Really! Magpie is strong, simple and you want as much as possible. They dont hurt. Is it important to win the split? I dont think so, if you have other good 4s or 3s on the board. You want them not to hit copper early, but if they do, buy more on 4, not on 5. i am really curious how this card turns out. a slightly better herald, a much better vagrant, rat i assume.

Hero: Looks weak for a Level 4/5 card. If Champion is nothing unbelievable strong, hmm. No idea. Onto the next card

Guide: Joker for bad/dud starting hands, costs you 1 turn to buy if you buy it early, cantrip. Needs decktracking abilities(will the next 5 cards be much better) and leads probably to hard decisions. Worth it? A clear yes from me.

Duplicate: A smugglers when you need it on your own card. Slow, terminal, will be ranked around the weakest 4`s, yes of course ahead of scout. Comparable to haggler? Not at all.

I was planning on putting up a picture of iso-like cards once it was all spoiled to see if people could guess what they were supposed to be.  Speaking of that, and your avatar, did you ever manage to get a hold of Guilds/Prince/some Adventures pictures for the iso gallery on the wiki?

Well, hell. I'm going to talk about these cards then! More briefly though, I don't want to take away from Adam or anything, I'm just super hyped for this expansion!

So if I'm going to do it, it has to be Tuesday evening (US Eastern time) -- I'm flexible about when, but it will have to be that night, otherwise we're waiting for a week. Which is also OK, but people may want to just do it without me before then.

Who is available Tuesday evening and wants to join in? Post here or PM me and if it's a decent showing I'll put something together.

I don't think having two discussions diminishes the value of either one of them. It is not like we hve 30 vanilla cards, these are complicated and there is a lot to say about them

But I don't remember that game... me duplicating several Distant Lands? Maybe, but I don't remember ever having 0-point Distant Lands in a game due to not getting them played. Could have been me though; my memory sucks. Who was that who said that? I couldn't tell who was talking.

*Edit* Thinking more about it; I have a vague memory of drawing multiple Distant Lands in the same hand and being sad because of it.

Not the type of movie I usually watch after work. But the cards were a lot easier to read on my TV.
