Regions without supply points get coloured in a pretty confusing way...

Actually the coloring is really simple. Some countries are initially owned by some powers, which is indicated by the thick black lines e.g. Tun by France. Then however moves into the spot gets influence over the country e.g. Russia over Gal.
I noticed that I used the army figures again, I'll change the settings of jDip so that this should be fixed soon.

Does anyone have access to the map now?

Are we talking about the same map? How is Russia getting control over, say, Finland?

It starts with control over Finland because it's inside its Borders, though ownership of Finland doesn't particularly matter since it's not a SC.

Just as a reminder because there was some confusion in the QT

For this variant, Egy and Hej are adjacent to Mid for all nations. Units moving between these spaces travel at half strength. For those of you that use jDip to assess their potential moves notice that the half-strength part is not implemented there.

For the record, the plan is Winter 1901 (build), Thursday 14th, 6pm and Spring 1902, Monday 18th, 6pm.

Otherwise, perhaps you can submit, conditional orders where you want to build depending on what happens on the map.

I withdrew A Mar to Gas, this was the only option.

I retreated A Bur to Gas, which has the most options, and A Bud to Vie, which is the only option. Please let me know as soon as possible, if you would prefer a disband or retreat to a different space.

Also a reminder of parts of the rules, which may come into effect this season:
