ghost and Kirian, have either of you played this before?

I'm going to wait until everything is updated.

Peasant in group 3 for salt.

BTW I noticed an error in the caravan path: Hinoua should not be the same as Palmvra

Everything updated. Also added a prestige breakdown, mainly for my own benefit but you can all see it too.

Also a minor note on forum game houserules. They're very minor but just so everyone is aware.
1) Tokens are unlimited (Talents, Camels, Resources, and also player cubes). They're in ample supply IRL so this doesn't seem like it'll affect anything. Note that Gardeners are still limited to 4.
2) You can see both sides of the plant cards on Mesopotamia all the time. You've already been able to do this since I made the sheet. It's pretty minor to irrelevant since you probably won't be planning that far ahead early in the game (and once two plants have flipped over you know all of them forever anyway).

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

I haven't.  I'm just working off of standard Eurogame play principles.  I do think there's a lot of possible jockeying for position where you wont' want to take action X because it allows another player to do action Y...

Yeah, I don't really know what to prioritize here.  I am sad that I'm all but out of the race for a Gardener in either field though.

I think I will pay $1 for the remaining Engineer.  Column D between the Palace and Gardener spots.

Quick question, for the Craft cards, what is the distribution from the draw deck?  Looks like 4 Merchants, 4 Peasants, 3 Engineers, 3 Priests?

The Draw deck is on the Tiles and Cards page, but yes, you are correct that's the distribution.

Also I'm making some minor changes to the Hanging Gardens board to make it easier to see what's Irrigated and who will get the bonus.

I move the caravan forward one space for 1 Camel, buy the Quality-1 plant for 1 Salt, and take the Palace/2 Prestige tile (B11).

I think all of that works.

Yep. Building the garden is slightly complex so a few things happen:

eHalc gets 1 prestige for irrigating. The plant card is flipped over. The garden tile is removed.

Also I just fixed an error in the cards tab (there should only be two copies of Caravaneer-1, not three as was previously showing.

Are you marking when those Court cards get taken?

Ha, that makes a lot more sense.  I was looking at it thinking "Palm sure is weak".

Anyway, I pass.

Edit: Also, I made a QT to jot down commentary.  If the rest of you do as well (Tables included), I'd be interested in reading your thoughts after the game.

Camel to travel to Palmvra. Salt for Banker

Pass

I don't think you can do that.  As far as I can tell, you have no camels remaining.  When it says "Camels +2" on the Caravaneer 1 tile, it just means that when you move, you get to move camels spent +2 spaces total (always with minimum 1 camel spent).  I don't think it's a bonus when you pick up the tile.

I started with two camels

1$ for merchant in group 3 -> 1 camel
The merchant gave me a third one.

2 camels + dates for caravaneer
I spent two camels to go to Uruk so I should have 1 left to go to Palmvra

Yeah, everything all works out, and I've updated everything. Kirian and eHalc got 1 talent from taking no action after passing.

Procession: my token in Tammouz, neutral in the others.  I choose a camel from Ishtar, and place for Barley from Tammuz.
