I'm now going to explain the joke, which means I should get lots of +1s for this post. The reason for this is that on this forum, sometimes don't get jokes until they are explained due to language barriers or sometimes those jokes are just really lame to begin with. I think in this particular case, if someone doesn't get the joke it's because the joke is "too meta." There is also a running joke about explaining jokes on the forum that usually results in +1s given to posts that explain jokes.
Also, if I complain in a post about not getting as many +1s as I think I deserve, or not getting as many +1s as some other post that I think is less deserving of them than my post, I usually get one or two +1s out of sympathy.
Geronimoo is trolling us.Now, to be fair, this log is for a game that has Secret Chamber instead of Duchess, but I think that is just to prevent us from finding the game by copy/pasting the whole kingdom into the Log Search, we actually had to work for it which provides us with another layer of "meta" to the joke. I actually think the Doctor/Rats interaction may be more powerful with Secret Chamber instead of Duchess, oh wait, it's exactly the same amount of power because it's still not worth anything at all.
In this exciting game, both players play a variant of Baron+Big Money on a Colony board. You may think that you could use Rats and Doctor along with Fortress to draw more cards, but nope. That's just no good at all. Just buying Doctor is better. Geronimoo loses this game because
he makes his own shuffle luck his Baron gets skipped by his Ventures three times in a row and then he draws it without an Estate while his opponent collides Baron with Estate pretty much every single time his opponent gets a Doctor and he doesn't.
The even funnier thing is that the line in cactus's signature
Yeah, I'm trolling.... what's it to you?
references trolling, but he seems to be unaware of the fact that he is getting trolled himself.
Now that I've explained the joke, we can all just +1 my wonderful post and move on with our lives. Thank you for your time.
