Cards (like Rats) that Perpetuate Themselves

Some cards we've had fun playing with, that perpetuate more Thorns and Combatants, while coming in handy in certain strategies.

THORN
Action/Attack
Cost: $3
You may trash a Treasure from your hand. When you do,
each other player gains a Thorn card, then discards an Action
from his hand or reveals a hand with no Actions.

COMBATANTS
Action/Attack/Victory
Cost: $4
2VP
Each other player trashes a Treasure or Combatants from his hand,
or discards his hand and gains a Combatants.

Both cards should be clarified :

"each other player gains a Thorn card, then discards an Action
from his hand or reveals a hand with no Actions." with the comma, we agree that they gain a Thorn no matter what, then must discard an action case if possible ? (in which case the "or reveals a hand with no Actions" should be parenthesed)

"Each other player trashes a Treasure or Combatants from his hand,
or discards his hand and gains a Combatants." : if they have no Treasure and no Combatants they must discard their hand ? Sigh...

Anyway, I think forcing to discard/trash a card of a specific type when possible is never good. Unless you add a clause "with 4 or more cards in hand".

Chocolate is like victory points in Dominion. Both taste good but they'll hurt you if you eat too much of it instead of something else in your early days.
