Is there a way to resign a game in progress and give the win to the other player? I'm new and not very good and don't particularly enjoy having my face beat into the mud when it's obvious I have no way to win.

I believe if you click on "quit" near the chat bar, it is equivalent to resigning.

But it seems to be awkward for the winner: Only after waiting a due while, the program will offer "make <opponent> resign". Often, it will perform an opponent's move immediately before handing the winner the victory after her
next
move.
