How can you call that one of the highlights of the second season? I mean, "Elementary, Dear Data", "A Matter of Honor", "The Measure of a Man", "Contagion", "Time Square", "Q Who", "The Emissary", and "Peak Performance" are all clearly above it, in my view. And a few of these are actually really good.

I mean, "Elementary, Dear Data", "A Matter of Honor", "The Measure of a Man", "Contagion", "Time Square", "Q Who", "The Emissary", and "Peak Performance" are all clearly above it, in my view. And a few of these are actually really good.

Q who beats this for sure. All the episodes with Q are usually the best (except Encounter at Farpoint).

Of your list I've got to put "Peak Performance" on the top, but "A Matter of Honor" is some seriously fun Trek.

"The Measure of a Man", as I've said before, is more than just good Trek; it is good for your soul.  I don't even put it in the same class as the others.
