Subtly implied OMGUS isn't going to make you look townier.  Are you suggesting I fabricated this being my reason?

I don't know if you fabricated anything, but you jumped on the wagon, because voting is cool, and have taken pps's stance wholesale without supplying any case of your own, and since the case rests on almost nothing, yes I think you may be scum.

The more EFHW posts the better I feel with my vote where it is. XP is forthcoming but we need more fuzzy. Fuzzy is uncharacteristicly absent. It is Halloween and a weekend, though. I think I read somewhere he has a big party going on.

To quote a Vulcan, "fascinating".  I think you are trying satisfy some condition with your role and maybe you want me to vote for you for some reason.  Because this is really too blatant to be an effort at mislynch.

Reread ww. Looks very normal. I agree advocating a flavor claim is scummy. vote: e

Also, somehow EgorK looks particularly scummy to me; not sure how.

Vote: faust until I have my answer

And I do not understand what pps is doing

If you think you can pressure me into something I don't see as pro-town, think again.

Do you think I'm scum? If so, why?

Unvote

I just wanted to start a really dumb wagon and see who jumped on board.

I like it!

Why one need to back out from unsuccessful wagon?

From my point of view it looks like people that keep vote switching or switching without a good reason get seen as scummy since it looks like they just keep trying people until one of them gets lynched. So scum might try to use that excuse to be able to move votes around alot.

Also since this is going farther then I expected. I don't actually think joth is scummy for saying this. For some people I might think they are scum for saying a phrase like that but for joth I think its a more towny thing for him to say.

I'm thoroughly confused now.

Dude, if you're going to continue on about how explaining yourself is scummy, I'll singlehandedly make sure you'll get lynched.

Yes, I think avoiding answer to question like that is scummy, especially the way you did that. That's why I voted for you, I am not fan of policy voting

Why is it scummy? Tell me the scum narrative for doing that.

also one thing I'm noticing and I don't really have a reason behind it is I'm getting a bad feeling from faust. Usually I'm really ok and get a good vibe from faust in other games i've played. And I actually was planning on buddying with him a bit this game since I like his town play usually. But for some reason I am just getting a bad feeling from him. There is almost no basis on this at all and I'm not going to vote for him just on this feeling. But I thought I should say it.

I've never heard someone say they are "planning on buddying". Don't really know whre to put that.

Otherwise, I'm sorry if I gave you a bad feeling. I don't want anyone to feel bad!

I agree this isn't typical faust. I never feel good about faust, though. I'm not seeing anything particularly suspicious. I think the nature of our roles can easily cause abnormal interactions. Here, faust seems particularly forward (i.e. Saying he will singlehanded lay ensure someone's lynch)

Hey, sorry guys, I have been meaning to spend some time on this game, but the weekend has been crazy.  I will try to get something down tonight but if not tomorrow.

Same here. I have been gone for Halloween and had meetings all day today. I posted yesterday in the VLA thread. Anyway, I am exhausted, so going to bed, but will post tomorrow.

Rereading the thread this stood out to me again:
That Xerxes guy is scummy. Someone should vote for him.

Vote: Xerxes

Also, what have I done / not done that's scummy?
Also, POE this early probably won't be very useful.

These are his second and third posts of the game.  Faust was clearly not serious in his post, but xp still felt the need to defend himself.  First he joke-votes himself, then asks how he is scummy.  I don't really see this reactive behavior from town!xp.  I originally voted for him because of the "PoE...won't be...useful" bit, which I still don't like.  Which goes completely along me my totally disagreement with this statement:
I'm also not sure if revealing all your reads this early is a good idea, if your suspect is in fact scum, he can adapt to it. I mean that's a general thing, so you probably have your reasons, but yeah.

Scum knows who other scum are.  Town doesn't.  In my opinion, honest reads from town are one of the best tools for finding scum.  Scum have to fabricate reads.  Which is much more difficult than just saying what you think.  But silverspawn is definitely consistent and hasn't given out any reads.  He has made jokes, corrected grammar, voted several different people, and done a lot without getting much done.  I am going to keep my vote on xp, but my second choice right now is silverspawn for scum.

I think e vs Xerxes is interesting. I can easily see one of them being scum, just not sure which one is more likely.

XP or SS both hold merit as potential scum. That SS has maintained a vote on me has simultaneously caused me to suspect him and tainted my objectivity towards him which is why between the two I would pick him.

Yes, I knew that someone would make this kind of case sooner or later, because my posts had indeed very little content (I even considered addressing it myself). You did it sooner. I don't have a metagame yet, I'm still experimenting, but I will say that lack of content is not a scum tell for me. Look at the only finished game where I was scum, did I keep my reads private there? Nope. I was totally self aware of the amount of content my posts had, as I am here. I mean, of course WIFOM applies here, so you can turn this into another argument, but yeah. it's WIFOM. I'm still experimenting with different styles of play, that's why I haven't posted much content.

I think e is more likely. His assessment of XP feels off to me.  Defensiveness is consistent with Town! XP and the POE comment may be debatable, but I don't see it as scummy.  Why do you think XP could be scum?
