I looked at the various previewish stuff for the app, and said, "Hey this looks a bit like Galaxy Online," and thought "Holy shit that was a damned time-sink, never ever again," and promptly ignored any references to it.

I generally make a distinction between Time Killers and Time Wasters. Most phone games fall into the Time Wasters category. It's about getting to go back to it everyday, and not really about good design.

I assume this is - you can play only so much each day, you need to play every day to progress, OR just pay money and cheat through those restrictions? (Thats what it seems).

I quit such stuff once i've quit eRepublik.
