Thanks for the all replies and feedback. It is much appreciated. I talked to some of my irl friends. They were thinking Arman Armani.

Right now, I am considering:

Arman Kody (Americanized version of my last name)
Arman K.
Arman Armani

But that's a brand name. Okay you got people to spell your first name correctly, but when they search for armani they don't just get you, first result. For that matter, if you're copying someone else's name, why not at least get your field into it? Arman Hemingway. A.K. Salinger.

I absolutely agree with Robz.  I think there are ways to ensure misspellings still hit you on all searches on the web, and that strikes me as better.

Arman Armani sounds too pretentious to me. It feels like you're choosing a name based on how great you think you'll be. And I'm sure you'll be great, but a perceived ego can turn people away, especially if they don't know for certain that your real name is Arman.

Though you could hide it behind a middle initial. Arman E. Jones, though the last name could be anything. You could make the E your last name and be Arman E, but I'm not really that thrilled with that.
