Woot. I was on the fence about partaking in group tickets for Hairspray this Saturday. In the end, I chose not to because I had a chance of a conflict. Now I have no plans on Saturday, and one of my co-workers had a date who flaked out (real asshole of a husband, so she's better off going alone). So now I get to go after all. This is good because one of my friends is in the cast, so I get to see her.

.txt extensions for simple communications.  Easy to read, easy to edit.  Notepad++ is really nice.

If you need formatting and special typesetting, use LaTeX like any normal person.

While i find LaTeX rather useful for professional/scientific documents, "like any normal person" strikes me as overly normative.
