Okay, I've finally gotten off the fence. I was debating on auditioning for Assassins next weekend. I've committed to it now by scheduling a vocal lesson to freshen up my voice. I'm not actually auditioning for a singing role. I really want to play Samuel Byck. I think his monologues would be fucking awesome to do.
But if the director appreciates my singing enough to offer me the role of Charles Guiteau or the Proprietor, I certainly wouldn't say no to either one. Too bad I'm too old for Hinckley. I really like his duet.
