without the spaces.

You can also reply to a post with an image to see how it was done.

There's also a button on the text editor that automatically wraps a link with those tags. Select the url, then click on the button with the painting (on the left, between a button that looks like a blue arrow, and the one with the World and a page), and voilà!

I read this fascinating article about Charles Dickens' two visits to New York and learned that avocados used to be called "Alligator Pears". Now I really want there to be a pokemon named Guacodile.

Edit: a google search shows that "Guacodile" already appears in popular culture as a plant in Plants vs. Zombies. I wonder if they got it from the same "alligator pear" origin as I did.

If you like Harry Potter or DnD, you will probably like Harry Potter and the Natural 20 and should go read it now. I went in with lots of Harry Potter knowledge and cursory DnD knowledge and enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure if you have lots of DnD knowledge and cursory Harry Potter knowledge, you'll have a similar experience.

(You should also read Methods of Rationality, but I suspect many people here already know about it.)
