I play Twist the Ether on absolute Zero
Power: let Bunker select one of these two cards
Rolled 2d31 : 1, 21, total 22
draw a card
Rolled 1d34 : 23, total 23
absolute zero may use twist the ether however he wants

Aww...if we'd had another ongoing I would be taking him to 1 HP.

Oh well...
I'll Play Modular re-alignment
playing Null-point Calibration from discard.
Then I'll deal myself 2 Ice Damage twice (thanks to Twist the Ether), taking me up to 5 HP.

And Power deal myself 2 Fire damage to deal IL 3 Cold Damage (4 unreduced).

7 HPs left.

I assume the damage taken status has been long removed? I don’t see anything to indicate that he should reduce damage. That doesn't change my action, though.

Play Wrecking Uppercut for 3 Melee. Discard top card of Iron Legacy (which one should be irrelevant now).

Power is Focusing Conduit Blade. In typical Dominion fashion, I do 4 damage first and then destroy the card. If there's any reason why that order doesn't happen, then I leave Iron Legacy for Expatriette to finish off.

Something-something-card-draw.

Well done, guys.

He actually reduces damage by 1 as part of his flip. But yeah, we have more than enough firepower to finish him off, gg, I'll write more when I get off work.

Good game, brutal, but short.
We had a good set of heroes/cards that made for quick set-up for us and quick take-down of the Villain.  Good thing we had those cards though, because we did NOT have the ability to come back from disaster.

I love Twist the Ether on AZ.  Such an awesome combo :)

Good game everyone.

Thanks Drowned Kernel for modding.

Our initial hands were very lucky; eliminating almost all of his ongoing cards in the first round.

The melee was brutal, but it ended as quickly as it began. The heroes threw everything they had at Iron Legacy, pushing their powers and their equipment to the very limit. When the dust cleared, most of them were barely standing, but Iron Legacy's body lay crumpled in the rubble. With the rage gone from his features, it was a disturbing sight to see the man who shared the face of their friend lying dead. The heroes were eager to leave, and let the FILTER agents escort them out of the prison. The whole thing would be hushed up, as the organization would want to avoid an embarrassment. But the heroes would remain haunted by the reminder of what might have been...

Thanks for playing everyone! I'll probably put up a thread for the next game soonish, if there's interest. I don't think I'll play this time, but now that we've beaten Iron Legacy, what's next? Vengeful Five? Playing the harder villains on advanced?
