I'm guessing this happened after the guy that I got the rules from did his thing.  Of course, it started as a joke, so the guy made some rules, then mayfair made some rules.

Mayfair worked with the producers of the show for several months before it aired, and provided all the pieces.

Yeah, they provided the pieces, but I remember in the article they said they didn't have any actual rules (other than that first page), and just tried to make up as much ridiculous stuff as possible.
