I can stand Galileo over Leonardo, but Darwin over Newton? I think Darwin is one of my least favorite major scientists.

BTW, without further evidence, I feel like choosing Lavoisier over Marie-Anne Pierrette Paulze (or viceversa) is unfair. There is good basis to suspect that she was actually the genius but had to publish with his name to avoid gender-based discrimination. Of course, good basis is not enough.
