mith 41-33 Singular Moniker

Saw a cute idea here that I just had to try, even though I was pretty sure it was too slow (even after the engine went off). Highway/Ironworks has the potential for some pretty explosive turns, though it was difficult to set up even with a great helper like Scrying Pool.

Your engine wasn't bad I mean you did win the game, but that would have been way more successful if you'd had a Village (so you could use multiple Ironworks to gain Provinces after playing all your Highways).

Indeed; my opponent and I discussed how much a +Actions or +Buy would have helped that engine (though the latter might have helped his Gardens deck enough to end the game before I got going).

I'm sure there is some optimization to be done (on both sides; Warehouse was mentioned post-game as the card he probably should have been gaining, over Oasis). But there was something pretty thrilling about going from a deck that's struggling just to get to $5 on turn 11, to an insane turn 12 with the addition of a single card.
