Not really a big fan of American Pool (Seriously, how big are those pockets??!) but i'll pretty much watch any sport if its on.

But its always a pleasure watching Europe give US a pasting at thier own game (Its probably the same satisfaction everyone gets from beating England at Rugby football and Cricket, or Tuvalu at Shuffleboard)

Just watched the final day and Europe have won overall 11-2! Finished a day early!

Niels Feijen was MVP, pretty good! I tended to watch a lot of pool on YouTube when I played league as a highly unskilled amateur, but less so these days.

Trust me, even with holes as big as they are, it's still pretty darn hard! :D

It's not as hard as 8 ball or snooker though.

There's a reason the game only lasts a few minutes...

No, it's not, and 9-ball is the most random (most American) way of doing it. Snooker is the most skilled (European) way. But even a distance of 1,5 meters can look like a mile when you're playing yourself. :)

I played mostly 8-ball (a bit more popular here in the Netherlands) and the occasional 9-ball for our matches. I tried playing Snooker once, but a Snooker table looks like a football field when you're used to a small pool table.

Yeah, I'm not saying the game itself is easy for the layman, just comparatively easy for a professional.

I used to play in a pool league too, but hardly played in the last 5 years.
