Here's how you can get rid of Stash (or other unwanted promos)

In the transition from the previous version to the current one, I received the Stash promo card for free because I had some number of extra "shields."

I would prefer not to own Stash, so I posted on making fun's forums and got Stash removed from my account. If you want to get rid of Stash or another unwanted promo, PM David on making fun's forums with your user name, associated email address, and the promo(s) you want to get rid of.

P.S. You are not allowed to give back Black Market, though, because it's the best card in Dominion. :P

Agree with Wero. I mean, even if you just don't like playing with that card, I would guess that removing it from your account only means that it will show up in like .01% of your games instead of showing up in .02% of your games, or something like that, right?

A card that you own shows up in more than .02% of your games. If you own all the current sets (other than Adventures obviously), it's just below 5%. And if you uncheck the "allow cards that I don't own" checkbox in the matchmaking screen, you won't get matched against players who own it. If you really don't want to play games with Stash, the difference is significant enough that it's probably worth the effort.

Ah, didn't know that you could choose to not allow cards you don't own.

This checkbox to me is one of the biggest WTFs of the current client. If people actually use the checkbox, that makes it harder to be matched into games for people owning many cards (y'know, the paying customers).

I can see instances where it makes sense though. While it wouldn't be a popular opinion here, I can understand not wanting to play with cards you don't own as it would put you at a disadvantage not knowing the cards or having practice with them.

You wouldn't download a car.

Possession is a very wonky card and on some boards very swingy. But, I don't really see myself vetoing any card. Though, if I were to veto a card it would be Swindler.

You know what's ironic? Walled Village was the least veto'ed card in online dominion.  Then Google+ exclusiviveto'd it!

in the "credit where it's due" department:

thanks to this thread, i learned that i got walled village for free with the transition to MF!  that was the only card i didn't own so i'm pretty happy about that actually~
