I'm surprised to see mcmc being interested in a non-coalition vote, that seems very unlike him. Town!mcmc should see that as suboptimal play.

You are correct, the issue is I really liked my coalition vote. Every time I look inside the coalition at people and try to  come up with a possible vote I immediately don’t like it.

I totally see the value in exhaling inside. Ugh I just don’t like my options.

This is the dilemma for scum inside the coalition today. “I townread these people yesterday, how do I backpedal here without it landing on me?”

I don’t see this as that much of an issue. All of the townies in the coalition also must reassess their reads from that phase.

If we want to go inside the coalition today then Robz is my pick.

Vehemently disagree with mcmc that it's possible to form such strong reads yet that exiling outside of coalition is sensible.

How about a compromise? We could exile outside of coalition but on the wagon.

Oh yeah the other game ended so I can say this now.

Cuzz is playing completely differently from M140. Night and day. That's why I townread him. Pretty cool that he's also the towniest out of the coalition people just due to coalition forming dynamics.

I think it is, super weird that eevee voted for a coalition without him. Have no clue what that means but super weird. I do think all 5 of us had voted for the coalition just not all at once so it was very likely the coalition that was going to go through

Definitely agree that it's weird, and it's probably not a good sign now that I think about it harder, though I can see both townie and non-townie explanations for it I guess.

I think it’s anti town. If it’s not a winning coalition then it’s a bad look for Eevee. We still had time to discuss things.

It sorta seemed that way to me too, but otoh town got unlucky by not getting anything from their prs for almost the whole game, and scum got lucky by not hitting the bomb before the mass claim.

Same philosophy as before: there are 70 possible coalitions that include me, and 15 of them are all-town; there are 56 that do not include me, and only 1 is all-town.

What does any of this have to do with the 4 names in your post who are not you?

I’m traveling for the long weekend and also trying to get ahead on work so I’m not gonna be able to be as active for the next few irl days until close to deadline. So fwiw my current subjective list of most to least townie is

Cuzz
Mcmc
Joth
Awaclus
Robz
Jack Rudd
Eevee
MiX
scola

For me this maps precisely onto my willingness to put them in my coalition, with of course some willingness to compromise as we get close to deadline to make sure we don’t fail to come up with a consensus. You can infer my willingness to join various wagons from this list while I’m away but I’ll also try to check in and get caught up and modify it as necessary

Is discussion dying down because scum knows that none of the top wagons are a win for town and they feel safe with any of them?

Want to start a competing wagon without the mcmc/Robz/joth combination that all of the top wagons have in common?

Thinking about it. I don’t feel amazing about MiX or Eevee at this point and I definitely can’t bring myself to include scola. Jack Rudd is a mystery at the moment.

Not really. Maybe marginally. It’s more that I think it’s more interesting to give people equal choices than to contribute to a sort of fait accompli by moving big wagon from 3 to 4.

I think either you are scum or you are just thinking about this game in a way that I really disagree with. The goal of the coalition is to put 5 townies in it and then we win the game, but instead of basing your choices directly on who you think is town you’re doing this weird higher level meta
game stuff.

I still lean town on you because of townie seeming interactions from earlier which is frustrating because I’m tempted to take you off my list but first I’m curious if anyone else has opinions about this.
