Ok, I saw that yesterday, didn't get it, and just moved on... but I just now got it... awesome.

And I didn't get it for about 3 minutes after reading this, and thinking about the thread title, etc.  Then the light dawned.  Very clever.

In my defense, I've never won a Princess, so I just ignored the artwork on the card.

And I still don't get it

Wow. I never thought of Princess as being a power card.  What do you think of Princess in a BM situation?  I suppose Followers>TS in BM, but maybe the 4 Silvers could be of use too?

"Dominion Wharfs" is just as correct as "Toronto Maple Leafs" is.

Wait, so would you say then that "Colonys" is correct? 

I love games with Colonys in the setup.  Though, sometimes the increased amount of VP gives me butterflys in my stomach.

Not sure if you have seen this thread.

I would probably say Colonies, but that is because it is a fairly common word.  I tend to just put an "s" on the end of most of the cards to make it plural, because you are forming the plural of the card itself...not necessarily the word.

Thanks Donald X.  I found the errors again.  $ sign missing on page 5, 6th line from bottom.  Another on page 7, 10th line from top.  And the Sir Martin cost is page 15, 8th line from top.

Again, it's not really that important, but I was just wondering if anyone else noticed it.

Yes...I read rulebooks.  Sorry.  I actually just got DA a week ago (loving it!) and noticed several errors in the manual.  2 +$ signs have been omitted, and it has Sir Martin costing $1 and Procession turning Madman into a card that cost $1.  All of the errors have to do with $ signs, and I was wondering if this was the case for you guys or not.  Maybe I just got a weird book

The trash is usually in the bottom row or below everything (yes, I play on a long table most of the time.) and the kingdom cards are arranged is separate rows for differing costs.  Mats go to the left of players decks, and piles of tokens are arranged in empty spots on the table.  Very flexible setup and probably kind of unorganized.  I actually change the setup a bit when playing on squarish tables.

I just like the thought of +2 buys on one card.  But you are right in the aspect of it not being reliable.  Sometimes you will have to go through the entire Knight pile to get him, and even then another Knight can take him out.

Very true unless your high card cost 7, or you want to turn your Graverobbers into Provinces, or you want to get your Nobles out of the trash after turning them to Provinces...

Finally got DA irl yesterday!  So happy

Found a combo that seemed to work pretty well: Graverobber/Rats/Nobles.  Of course, Nobles can be substituted for any high cost action card, but it helped with my engine draw (Mining Villages are awesome in Graverobber games) and it also got me ahead on VP.

(For those who have no idea what I am talking about, I buy Rats, start trashing my deck, buy a Graverobber, and turn my Rats into Nobles.)

How often is Trusty Steed actually the correct Prize to take first? Followers is just so mean.

Trusty Steed is awesome in engines(don't take the 4 silvers for this), but Followers is mean.  Very easy to get clogged up with estates though.

Remember when we were all playing our final iso games and commemorating the day by getting iso card avatars?  ...  It's still up!  Thanks to Goko.  A second miracle is that Androminion has Dark Ages, which I had supposed Goko was keeping for itself.  So, in reality, goko's fail was actually a blessing in that we still have isotropic and are able to have a 2012 tourney. 
Can't wait to see who wins the trusty steed! (or actually the free dominion set)
