I have this issue where I always mix up scolapasta and Dylan, thus it would be very pro-town for one of them to get exiled early.

This made me laugh out loud! I think scola needs to change his avatar to a picture of noodles so that it is easier to discern them from one another.

Right, so.

It's probably good to make an IC, right?

So we need a Mayor/Drunk to claim please.

You may want to lay out the whole plan before encouraging any claims.

We can run someone up to X-2 with no drunk/mayor votes and then have the claimed drunk/mayor(s) vote one at a time. If they're drunks, that doesn't actually prove their claim. If they're a real mayor it does, but then the day ends and scum can NK them. Maybe we can protect them, maybe not.

Or we can run someone up to X-1, then have the drunks/mayors vote one at a time. That will prove a drunk if there's another vote count and the day doesn't end. But a mayor voting in that scenario will end the day but won't have their claim confirmed, so they won't really be an IC.

I suppose we could wait to decide between plan 1 and plan 2 until after people claim. That will make it a little harder for a lying scum to game the system.

Anyway, the plan still requires us to select an exile target for the day.

The problem is that the drunk doesn't know they're drunk, so all we'd know from that is that they aren't a mayor (but not if they're drunk or lying)

Meep. The Joseph wagon is understandable, with all the inconsistency. But I really doubt they are the kind of player to claim VT in that spot as scum.

Non-Joseph votes really need to consolidate. Is noone liking chairs? The way he hopped onto the Didds wagon just to immediately abandon it is was pretty suspicious.

chairs is hard to get excited about, as far as I can tell it's basically a lurker exile

This comment seems like it could be strategic modesty and setting town up, similar to when people set up artificial 1:1s.

Three people in a row saying I'm townie is noteworthy. I'm going to guess that there's exactly one scum on that group

We often seem to chairs exile based mainly on inactivity. There must be a better option based on scumminess not just lurkiness

It's late and I have a headache, so while it wasn't long, I'm going to tl;dr my last post for clarity on the salient point.

I pointed out that Galz messed up the group of people who townread ADK back to back to back in trying to read Joseph. Joseph said Glooble not really being in that group explained why he wasn't suspicious of Glooble, but Joseph was originally the first person to put Glooble in that group to begin with by mistake, so he literally was just caught in a lie regarding his motives behind his reads/actions.

It was late and I made a mistake. Everything I said about Glooble and Dylan was what I thought, the fact I temporarily forgot which one of them was on the set of people- so what? Mistakes happen

I had about 100 things on yesterday, and this game really was priority 100

Ooh, that’s actually a pretty convincing argument from Dylan as far as d1 cases go. I can never read joseph, so i like that this is more about the actions than the man.

I don't care to be honest. I just use "they" as default for everyone so I don't have to think about it

I'm voting Joseph because of the evolution of his "reads" - voting for EFHW for "RVS", that turns into 'leaving his vote there for real reasons' - those 'reasons' being a purchase into the belief that 3 consecutive people expressing town reads on ADK could not themselves all be town, and EFHW (for unexplained reasons) is the scummiest of those 3 people - sorry, 2 people, as Joseph himself was one of the 3 (and thus would not consider himself). The other player, Glooble, has a few votes himself with plenty of conversation happening around him, yet Joseph has been completely silent on that topic. Seems to me that if Joseph genuinely believed that there were scum amongst {EFHW, Glooble}, he would be more interested in considering the arguments surrounding both players in that pair.

Glooble wasn't the 3rd in that sequence of ADK townreads. Glooble was voting for ADK, then EFHW townread, I agreed, then Joseph agreed.

Yes this is why I wasn't on Glooble
And as for Dylan, they've not made many posts for me to analyse right now

Although this post seems more towny than EFHW's vote for anyone post
