Played two Forges in one turn.  Once to trash a Copper, gaining a Copper- the other time to trash nothing, gaining a Copper.

Same game, used Pathfinding on Bridge Troll, Rebuild, Harvest, Harvest again, Magpie, Harvest, Magpie, in that order.  Had 4 Magpies and never any of the other ones.

Trashed down to Raze, Guide, and two Silvers (with help from my Knights).  Bought Loan.

EDIT: Same game, trashed a Loan with a Loan, then bought a Loan.

The curses were long gone, but the bot kept buying Soothsayer anyway.  Its ninth gave me the win on piles.

You may banish this or another card from your hand.  If you do, gain a Mystic or Heavy Infantry, putting it in your hand.

(If you don't play Ascension, the "kingdom" has only one card per pile, with a random new card dealt each time a card leaves the supply.)

I imagine the variance would frustrate many players here, but I like weird things like that once in a while.  Off the top of my head, you might run into mechanical issues with cards that interact with the supply, or copy things, but it wouldn't be TOO hard to implement on a basic level I'd think.  Thoughts?

Is this the misclicks thread now?  I took a long break from Dominion and got into Ascension instead.  First game back was a 2/5 opening with Save.  I saved a Copper on my first turn.  There was a 4 I wanted, so I played one of my 6 Coppers and bought Save again.

I figured it was an interesting design space- aside from the obvious concept of accelerating the end of game, you can use it to deny a key card for somebody's engine, or take the sting out of junking attacks.  Trashing Provinces seems a bit too swingy, hence the ban on trashing greens.  I bet somebody's beat me to the idea, but oh well!

While this is in play, all cards cost 75% less.  You can buy as many as you want, but you'll probably never even play most of them.  When you buy a card with this in play, you may gain a Trading Card.

It's kinda fun to collect, you guess.

I feel like it compares pretty well to Chapel and Altar, so 6 seems about right, but is the unlimited potential a bit much?  Does it being a late-game trasher offset the power level somewhat?  Would it be better off as a P-cost or Prize or Event or something?

Mission triggers at the end of YOUR turn, right?  I thought it was possible to pin people in multiplayer but I think I just misunderstood when it triggers.

The "upgrade chain" (Traveller type) cards changed a whole lot from the Chicago meetup, wow.

No kiddin', dang.  I think I personally liked the old version better but that's entirely because I like overly complicated things.

Reveal the top card of your deck.  Draw it, discard it, or trash it.
If you draw it, +2 actions.
If you discard it, +2 cards.
If you trash it, +$3.

I'm not sure of the balance on the last option, but I feel the first two are about right for a band of misfits kinda card.  For $4, you either get a Village, a nerfed Smithy, or a weird Trade Route.  None of those would probably be good at $4, but the flexibility (and being able to react to what the top card actually is) makes it worthwhile...I hope.

Trash a victory card from your hand that is not an Estate.  Worth 1 VP for every 5 Victory cards in the trash (rounded down).

Okay, I'm catching up on this thread so this is super old, but I actually kinda like this concept, with some actual balancing.  Maybe something like

Silk Rat
$4 Victory
Worth 1 VP for every Victory card in the trash.  When you gain this, you may trash a card from your hand.

Even if there's no support on the board or from your opponents, you can get them to $4 Duchies with some commitment, and if there IS a way to get more green in the trash, they can become key cards.
