the sea hag has a 1 in 11 chances of hitting your opponents witch  plus it puts the curse in your opponents deck sooner  if there is a smithy or a better drawing card for after sea hag becomes useless that will be better than witch's draw 2
also you will be wanting to get a second curser  and that 2nd one will probably be a sea hag although if u got your 1st witch idk what the odds are of getting 5 in your next cycle
this is all assuming you don't buy anything for 2 but I would get a cellar.

I think an easy way to stop this would be for the other player to buy counting houses especially if there is a tfb or any strong trashing  it seems in order for this to work you need to be able to buy lots of counting houses more than 6
